Enterprise Events unable to add events from File Plan Builder

Issue

If you go to Site Settings>Enterprise Events you get a blank page for types/permissions and instances):

If you are in File Plan Builder and go to the Disposition instructions and click on Manage you also get the same blank page.

However, under Event Stage, the Enterprise Events stages do appear. If you launch Enterprise Events in Admin mode, all of the expected entries appear.

If you launch EE in Admin mode (http://localhost:5081/en-US/Account/AdminWelcome):

All of the expected entries appear:

Root Cause

 The user entry in the UserInfo table needs to be refreshed.

Resolution

Remove the user from the group and re-add. This process of removing and re-adding the user to the SharePoint group refreshes the user entry in the UserInfo table in the site hosting Enterprise Events.
